Chairperson's Report:
- This seemed like the end of an era.
- Productive workshops were held but there has been a
decline in support.
- Denise Ham gave a valuable Conducting Workshop.
- Sarah Allens Kodály meeting was very useful.
Sarah's daughter was used to demonstrate.
- Paul Rolland technique was discussed.
- At the Festival given by Mary Cohen the lack of worry
about technique was much appreciated. Pupils were
stimulated by the day. It was a pity that it was all her
own music. This possibly caused small numbers.
Secretary's report:
- Rachel Greenwood was only able to comment on the
Conducting workshop as she did not attend the other two
events because of ill-health.
- As always ESTA is an inspiration and she was very sorry
to be resigning as secretary. She hoped that a new one
would be found quickly so that the good work could
continue.
Treasurer's Report: The opening balance was
£140.01 and the closing balance £105.00.
The Festival:
- The clash of dates was discussed and also the choice of
music.

meetings less well attended. INSET days happened 5 times
a year.
